Welcome to the Stevenage Museum blog

We want to share more about the museum’s collections of objects, documents, photos and oral history. We’ll tell you about current research being undertaken by the team of volunteers, highlight new donations and current projects.

Stevenage Museum is a small, community museum telling the story of the town using colourful displays, film, and with plenty of hands on activities for all the family, it is a great place to visit.

How to find us
Just three minutes’ walk from the town centre, five minutes from the bus station and seven from the railway station, the Museum is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of parking space in the public car parks on St George’s Way.
